The CETA Apprenticeship Program
Our program was created by I.B.E.W. Local Union 776 and the Atlantic Coast Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association. Charleston Electrical Training Alliance is uniquely funded through provisions in local collective bargaining agreements. Students and apprentices’ only financial obligation is in purchasing textbooks and paying online fees. Outside of these expenses, the industry bears the brunt of the costs, considering it an investment in the future. Most importantly, we work with companies that pay a living wage with health insurance and pension benefits.
